Open industry →Government linkage
Official OFO → SETA SIC activity links
The DHET OFO 2021 workbook contains a small, explicit SIC Link sheet. These codes are the legacy SETA/skills-development SIC activity codes used in the sector system; they are not silently converted to modern Stats SA SIC 7.
How links work
Industry is not occupation
SIC classifies the main economic activity of an establishment. OFO classifies the work a person does. The same occupation can therefore appear in several industries.
PathLens only creates an occupation-industry link when an official government or SETA source explicitly provides both codes. It does not infer industry from an occupation title.
